Who we are

At PRAXIS Human Performance, we believe that health, strength, and confidence should never be reserved for a select few. They are foundational human needs—and powerful tools for building better lives and stronger communities.

PRAXIS exists to bridge the gap between world-class training and everyday access. We combine high-level coaching, cutting-edge evidence-based methods, and genuine community investment to serve athletes, elders, and working adults alike.

Our name comes from the idea of praxis: turning knowledge into meaningful action. We don’t just study human performance—we live it, teach it, and apply it daily to help people move better, think clearer, and live stronger.

World class training for all!

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop resilient, capable, and confident people through intentional training, education, and community engagement.

We make affordable, high-quality coaching and programming that meets individuals where they are—and helps them progress toward where they want to be.

Whether you are a young athlete chasing excellence, a parent building long-term health, or an elder reclaiming energy and strength, PRAXIS is built for you.

Our Commitment to Community

PRAXIS was founded with a simple conviction: access matters.

Too many people are excluded from high-quality training and coaching because of cost, location, or lack of support. We are committed to changing that.

Through scholarships, sliding-scale programs, partnerships, and community initiatives, we work to ensure that financial barriers do not determine health outcomes.

We are building more than a gym.

We are building a resource.

A place where neighbors pursue their best selves together.

A place where young people are mentored.

A place where health becomes sustainable.

Our Approach

Every program at PRAXIS is built on four principles:

1. Every Body is Different

In skeletal structure, health history, psychological makeup, body view, and many other ways there are vast differences between one person's body and another

2. The body is never the same

Day-to-day, workout to workout, rep to rep, the body is constantly receiving sensory inputs to manage appropriate outputs given what the body can handle at that moment.

3. The body is a complex system of integrated parts

The muscular system is not the hormonal system is not the skeletal system is not the nervous system. They do, however, interact in symphony with each other. As such, the impact of exercise on each system must be taken into account.

4. Exercise is physics applied to the body

Joints are points of rotation and muscles create motion around those points. As such, we do not select exercises out of a book. We build exercises around how your unique body is built to move and train specific tissue.

Our Founder

PRAXIS was founded by Kyle Goemmer, a coach committed to combining performance excellence with community stewardship.

With 10 years of experience training professional athletes, executives, and everyday individuals, our founder has seen firsthand that the greatest results come from consistency, character, and care—not hype.

This project exists to pass that standard forward.

Our Vision

We envision a future where:

  • Every neighborhood has access to quality training

  • Young athletes are developed as whole people

  • Adults remain strong and capable into old age

  • Health becomes a shared community value

PRAXIS is one step toward that future.
